Meet Our 2019 Summer Campers!

Meet Our 2019 Summer Interns Campers!

This summer DaviesMoore is “Basecamp” for an adventure in advertising for our four interns! The 2019 internship is underway and the “campers” are blazing their own trail, learning all about #agencylife, creative marketing, and brand-building. We kicked-off the summer with a picnic at the park, complete with yard games and beautiful weather! Meet our interns that are camped out here for summer:

P.S. hover over their pictures for a surprise!

Annie Timberlake

Hi all! My name is Annie Timberlake. I just graduated last month from the University of Idaho with a BS in Advertising and a minor in Marketing. Go Vandals! While at school I was involved in leadership within my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Vandal Solutions- a student run, not-for-profit marketing club that works with local businesses – and AAF’s National Student Advertising Competition. I am thrilled to be back in Boise with my family and friends, AND to be interning at DaviesMoore! I love sushi, cold brew, happy hour, summertime and sunshine, McCall, my dog, and Friends.

What would be your spirit animal and why?

I think I would be a dog because they are curious, social, and empathetic. Also because people are usually happy to see their dog, and I hope people are happy to see me. 🙂

Favorite camping food?

Hot dogs, NSAC ‘18 people, you know…or s’mores!

How toasty do you like your marshmallow?

Perfectly golden brown, accompanied with melty chocolate on the graham cracker.

If you could only bring one thing into the wilderness, what would it be?

A nice, clean bathroom!

Favorite place to camp in Idaho?

McCall, Coeur d’Alene, Red Fish or just anywhere with a lake!

Spenser Wilson

Hello, my name is Spenser Wilson! I am overly excited to announce that I graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s in Marketing and Finance a mere 4 weeks ago. Throughout my college years, wayback in the day, I was president and captain of the lacrosse program, VP of the Executive Club Sports Council and a member of the advertising team. In my spare time you can find me coaching lacrosse, exploring the great outdoors or jammin’ out to a new rap or indie album. You also might find me devouring Eggs Benedict at a late afternoon brunch on the weekends. Seriously though, I geek out over a great brunch. I am excited to learn from the DaviesMoore team this summer and continue my journey to better understand the madness our world has to offer.

What would be your spirit animal and why?

Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica (sorry I have to throw in an Office pun when I can). My spirit animal would have to be a bear. I wouldn’t say any specific type of bear; I like them all. A bear is my spirit animal because they eat a lot of berries, they love honey and they are master-salmon-fishers according to Animal Planet! All of which I enjoy or strive to be. I also really enjoy my sleep and they get endless zzz’s in the winter.

Favorite camping food?

I can’t turn down a good weenie roast over the campfire.

If you could only bring one thing into the wilderness, what would it be?

If I could only bring one thing into the wilderness it would be Bear Grylls. I grew up watching his adventure series on TV and he is the human version of a Swiss Army knife. Besides, I hear he is great company too.

How toasty do you like your marshmallow?

I love a good mallow…if it’s roasted correctly! A nice golden brown is easier said than done, but it is a necessity to a good s’more.

Favorite place to camp in Idaho?

My favorite place to camp in Idaho is easily right outside of Crouch. There are tons of great spots next to the river and the small town itself is just as much, if not more, fun. The corner bar, The Dirty Shame, is worth the drive itself.

Chloe Pampush

Hey! I’m a Graphic Design major at Boise State with one year left to go! I also just finished up my German minor and work on campus helping beginning German students with their speaking skills. Outside of school and work, I really enjoy photography and throwing it back to more traditional design processes like screen printing. When I actually have free time, I’m probably outside riding my bike, hiking, or skiing, or I’m in the kitchen trying out a new recipe.

What I love most about being a graphic designer is the ability to reach people and have an impact—which is why I’m so excited to be interning at DaviesMoore. Learning the ins and outs of advertising and how to use my art to reach an audience is a really exciting opportunity!

What would be your spirit animals and why?

I would say my spirit animal is a bee. I’m constantly busy with school, clubs, work, and passion projects, and I also enjoy contributing to a greater cause. Plus bees are just really cool and are always out enjoying nature!

Favorite camping food?

We always bring stuff to make chili when we go camping, and for some reason it just tastes so much better when you’re sitting around a campfire eating it!

How toasty do you like your marshmallow?

Perfectly golden brown. There’s no other way.

If you could only bring one thing into the wilderness, what would it be?

Honestly, I don’t mind roughing it in the wilderness but I will always bring my camera with me. I get serious FOMO about missing out on a prime photo op.

Favorite place to camp in Idaho?

I haven’t done a ton of camping in Idaho, but Redfish Lake was my first trip and will always be a very memorable one. The stars were incredible!

Breelyn Rogers

Hi everyone! My name is Breelyn Rogers and I will be going into my senior year at the University of Idaho. I will be graduating with a bachelor’s in advertising and a minor in marketing in May of 2020. I am a part of the sorority Alpha Phi which has given me the greatest group of friends and many leadership opportunities. I am passionate about art, graphic design, friends, dogs, and a nice cup of coffee. Seriously though…coffee should be my middle name. I am eager to see the action behind DaviesMoore and what they will teach me about the agency world.

What would be your spirit animal and why?

I would have to say a monkey. This is due to two reasons. First, I am a curious monkey and always want to learn more about what this world has to offer. Second, I am oddly very good at replicating monkey noises.

Favorite camping food?

Definitely can’t turn down a nice, smoky s’more. What’s better than melted chocolate, marshmallows and cinnamon graham crackers?

If you could only bring one thing into the wilderness, what would it be?

If I could bring anything, it would have to be a shower. I love camping and getting away but sometimes the dirt is just too much.

How toasty do you like your marshmallow?

My process of roasting marshmallows is very precise. I love a gooey marshmallow, so first you have it get it nice and golden-brown. Then I like to darken the outside by sticking it straight into the flame for about 5 seconds. That’s what I call a perfect s’more marshmallow.

Favorite place to camp in Idaho?

My favorite place to camp would have to be McCall! Nothing beats the Payette Lake in the summertime.
