Balihoo Masquerade Gala Recap

This was the third year we were able to help our friends at Balihoo by sponsoring their annual fundraiser benefiting Family Advocates. Family Advocates is a Boise-based non-profit, focused on keeping abused children out of danger and in safe homes, while partnering with parents to build strong families. They are a private, independent, non-profit agency that relies solely on donations.

We were able to not only help the event in sponsorship, but our creative & digital teams but their skills to use by designing the invitations, posters, table tents, and creating an event landing page!

The theme shifted from last year’s ‘steam punk’ shenanigans to a black tie masquerade, held at the top of the Zion’s Bank Building downtown. Everyone came dressed to impress, including a variety of masks. We kicked off the evening with a cocktail hour in the Vault Bar, and then started our masquerade parade to the event. At the gala, we enjoyed perusing the auction items, participating in the wine pull, and getting psychic readings by Psychic Shelia. The highlight of the evening was the live auction, and the night ended with over $36,000 raised for Family Advocates. Push2Play closed out the evening with a great set that had everyone on the dance floor.

It was nice to trade our converse & distressed jeans for fancy dresses & crisp suits, and we had a great time rubbing shoulders with our industry friends. Please visit FamilyAdvocate.org to donate, or for more information about this wonderful organization.

Can’t wait for next year!
