One part curated charity art show, one part holiday party, and all kinds of festive fun!
The December First Thursday in Downtown Boise has become a citywide tradition, bringing together Boise’s small business, local artists and people of all ages to kick off the holiday season.
This year DaviesMoore participated by hosting a charity art show and silent auction that benefitted the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County. Our Vault offices were opened to all and transformed into a fabulous holiday wonderland. The Vault was filled with amazing original artwork by the DaviesMoore team and a few of our friends. The artwork included oil paintings, watercolors, etchings, photography, pottery, and other various original works. All art showcased was available for silent auction, and all of the proceeds benefitted the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County. Wine was provided by Fork restaurant, and some delicious appetizers circulated the event courtesy of our in-house chefs, aka Edward Moore and Lisa Cloyd.
We raised over $1500 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County!
A little about Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County
The mission of Boys and Girls Clubs is to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need them most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. These Clubs provide a wealth of programs and activities to prepare young people for real-world success. They believe that by focusing on health and fitness, academic success, and good character and leadership, the children they serve will be better prepared to graduate from high school, go on to college, and thrive as adults.
