Welcome, Kelly Knopp!
116 & West
The Creative Department at 116 & West is excited to welcome Kelly Knopp as our newest team member. As a Senior Designer, Kelly will work on a variety of projects from ground-level conception to design and illustration (and everything in between).
Though new to the Westie team, Kelly is a well-known artist and illustrator in Boise. He is a former co-owner of Crooked Fence Brewing and served as their Creative & Marketing Director (Boise beer drinkers are likely familiar with his work from his fantastic illustrations on Crooked Fence products). Most recently, Kelly has been working as a freelancer and as the co-owner of the Swell Artist Collective.
Kelly developed his own unique illustration through trial and error, working primarily in pen and ink and digital graphic design. In addition to illustration and design, Kelly has experimented with other media like wood and murals and has presented his work in a number of solo exhibitions and group shows.
Kelly lives in Boise with his wife Chay and their two daughters, Kae and Hadley. When he’s not making art Kelly likes to skateboard and snowboard.
