I have always had a passion for people and building relationships. I believe each one of us has a unique story to tell, and that our entire human experience is rooted in our need to connect with others. It’s the simple interactions we have every day that make us feel human – like the moment we exchange a smile with a stranger on the street. I believe the most powerful marketing and advertising happens when we can tap into our authentic experiences and emotions, and use them to build meaningful connections between brands and consumers.

I have been sharing my stories through writing and performing for as long as I can remember. I was only four years old the first time I got on stage and sang for an audience (it was a Disney song, of course). I’m so lucky to come from a family of talented musicians who encouraged me to keep practicing, and I started performing regularly around the Boise area when I was 15, with my dad as my guitarist. We play just about everything – originals, 80s rock, 90s pop, country, and today’s top songs.

I spent my first two years at Boise State University studying video production, with a plan to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. After I took my first marketing course, I discovered how my talents and passions for creating and performing could be used to build brands and campaigns, and I was excited by the challenges that a marketing career offered. I switched my major and ended up graduating with my degree in marketing.

After graduation, I landed an internship with an advertising agency and fell in love with the industry. It’s inspiring to be surrounded by so many talented and creative people who constantly challenge you to create your best work. There’s this amazing feeling you get when you give a great pitch and the client loves the work your team created – that’s the feeling I live for.

Some fun facts about me: I’m a proud Navy brat, originally from Charleston, South Carolina. I have lived in Boise since 2006, but you’ll still catch me saying “y’all” and eating my favorite southern meal, shrimp and grits. When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me singing and writing songs on my piano, taking photos on my Canon, or working on my blog at a coffee shop downtown. I also love hiking in the foothills with my dog Bronco, and hitting happy hour with my friends.
